As you likely already know, we are currently asking readers like you to cast your votes in our Top 100 Men on 2009, celebrating the hottest men of the year. On our blog, we’re letting you get to know some of the 100+ candidates that are vying for your attention. Today, we’re profiling Canadian Cory Monteith from your fave new TV show (and ours!), Glee.
Much like his character Finn Hudson, Monteith wasn’t much of a singer or dancer before auditioning for the now-hit series. The actor and drummer got the gig, and now spends hours taping, singing and dancing, and recording songs. (You likely already own the show’s soundtrack.) It sounds like a grueling schedule, but well worth hearing Monteith and his co-stars belt out tunes like their cover of Queen’s “Somebody to Love”. While Finn’s not the smartest tool in the shed, Monteith plays him with such conviction and endearingness, you can’t help but love him.
