As you likely already know, we are currently asking readers like you to cast your votes in our Top 100 Men on 2009, celebrating the hottest men of the year. We’re letting you get to know our candidates from TV, film, music, sports and more by hilighting a few of them here on our blog. We’ve already told you about hotties Neil Patrick Harris and Blake Mycoskie. Today, we’ll let you get to know someone you may not have heard of: Canadian singer, Jason Bajada.
Born and raised in Montreal, the singer-songwriter–inspired by the likes of Brian Wilson, Tom Waits and Robert Smith–opts for melancholy tunes, as is evident from his album Lovesh*t, released early this year. His first under a record lable (MapleMusic Recordings), Lovesh*t offers a combo of both mellow and upbeat songs, making this little-known singer one of Canada’s rising stars. Take a listen for yourself:
For more information on Bajada, as well as streaming music and tour dates, visit http://www.myspace.com/jasonbajada. Already touring both here and in the US, we’re sure to be hearing more from him in 2010!
