This Sunday, July 15, is National Ice Cream Day. And, given the fact that it’s going to be considerably warm this weekend in Eastern Canada, a cold and refreshing treat is a must!

Across the country, Cold Stone Creamery has created various dairy concoctions paying homage to each and every province. From the B.C. Rocky Mountain Landslide to the Newfoundland Codton Candy Dandy, each province across our great land is getting the ice cream treatment with unique combinations of toppings.

Here in Quebec, our culinary treasure is non other than the delicious and artery-clogging poutine. In its dessertified form, it is known as a Poutine Sucrée (“sweetened poutine”). Made with French Vanilla ice cream it is mixed with chocolate flakes and yummy pecans, topped with a caramel sauce. Yum!

We’re definitely taste-testing this beauty this weekend. Be sure to stop by Cold Stone Creamery and try out your home province’s Signature Creation!
