1. Motorola moto g
Motorola’s latest release is so refreshing. It comes in 15 different colourful shells, which allow you to customize it exactly to your liking. It has tonnes of battery life, which is bound to avoid you many headaches, and its full HD screen is extremely precise. moto g is also super fast: a phone truly meant for multi-tasking.We like: its tiny price even without a contract, which allows you to get a new phone without the commitment.Buy it for: its fast execution, which in no way deters from its battery life. Brilliant!

2. LG G3

LG always offers cutting edge products, and its most recent smartphone is no exception. The G3 looks classy with its detailed HD screen, and metallic back that is available in three colours. What can we say of its 13-megapixel camera, which even includes a selfie function? Awesome! Face unlock, customized tips and smart virtual keyboard: we fell in love with the extra features on this phone that make your life just a little easier.We like: its huge screen. The phone is still thin enough to slip into a clutch for a night out, but the big screen makes content really easy to read.Buy it for: all the little extra features, and the gadgets you can pair with it: a smartwatch that reads your text messages, a special diary-style case with partial access to the screen, and even a portable mini photo printer.$150 (without contract) at Bell, Rogers and Videotron. 

 

3. HTC One

Stylish and affordable, the HTC One is an Android smartphone that is all curves and, well, smarts. From apps like the HTC Blinkfeed (which keeps us updated with news and social media posts) to great sounds thanks to the dual front-facing speakers, this is a gadget that is great for both work—hooray for access to Google Drive!—and play.We love: the glacial silver and gunmetal grey colours available, making it or an altogether gorgeous fashion accessory. 4. Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

Apple’s newest phones, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, were announced and launched with the traditional fanfare; and so far, the larger, thinner smartphones do not disappoint. The sharp, super responsive Retina display is as beautiful as ever, except that it’s now bigger: the iPhone 6 screen measures in at 4.7” and the iPhone 6 Plus, at 5.5” (diagonal). The new iPhones are also lightning fast, with faster processors and network connections, and improved battery life. We really noticed an improvement in the photo quality compared to previous models.
