August Editorial: It’s the Best Time of the Year!

Are we already in August? I have a love-hate relationship with this month, because for me it’s the most beautiful time of the year.  The temperature is perfect, sunsets are simply gorgeous, and people go on vacation or come back from vacation, all smiles. The month of August also creates in me an urgency to live, a feeling of pressure to do everything before fall settles. Is it the same for you?

This month, we’ll still be talking about summer fashion and refreshing recipes, but we’ll also be working behind-the-scenes on all of the upcoming autumn trends in order to give you all of the content that you need to get ready for back-to-school! Every summer, I like to go camping at least once, visit a beach in Vermont and go raspberry or strawberry picking. You know what? I haven’t made it to any of these activities yet this summer!  I promise to fix that this month. I’m ending this note by presenting some of my favorite beauty products of the moment, because I have really made great discoveries in the skincare  this summer, and there is still time for you to try them! Happy August everyone! x

Amalfi Body Oil by Pura Vida Glow, $30 A moisturizing oil that makes the skin and hair glow, in addition to smelling like the beach: pure happiness I have to say! I’m not even finished with my first bottle and I am already thinking of getting a second one.

Esthederm Osmoclean Clarifying Buffing Mask, $43 This mask is miraculous for the skin! It softens and lightens the complexion in just a few minutes, and the application of the product is super smooth.

Retinol Serum by Di Morelli Skincare, $110 I recently discovered this Vancouver brand and I have a little crush on their simple, effective ingredients. This serum gives radiance to a grayish complexion and smooths the skin. This is not the last that you will hear from me about this brand!
