Are you a morning bird or a night owl?
I am a morning bird! The future belongs to those who wake up early!

What is your favorite item in your wardrobe?
A classic and simple little black dress that I style differently depending on the occasion.

Where do you go for a drink?
I prefer coffee to alcohol. I like going to Rockaberry for the atmosphere, and plus, it’s a great place for work meetings. Their pies are delicious also.

Your favorite places to shop?
To save time, I shop online a lot. It’s easier to see all the items that are available. My favorite places are Nordstrom, Banana Republic, BCBG and Simons.

Who is your female role model?
Oprah Winfrey. She’s inspiring. Despite her wealth, she stays authentic, generous and close to women. Success did not change her, and I admire people like that.

Heels or flats?
Heels without a doubt! I like having those extra inches.

What makes you smile?
My two daughters, they make me so proud.

Your favorite restaurant?
Sushi Taxi, I’m a sushi fanatic.

In your opinion, what is the hardest thing women have to face in 2016?
Managing family and time. I admire the women who say that they manage their work life and their family life well, but I also doubt it at the same time. In life, there is always a price to pay and this price isn’t always money. It’s something I have to deal with every day.

What is the last book you read?
Ask and You Shall Receive by Pierre Morency. What a great read!

Where would you like to go on your next trip?
India. I would love to do a meditation trip. Cultivating my inner peace is very important to me. I love the idea of a “healthy spirit in a healthy body”.

Do you have a life motto?
“Succeed in my life before succeeding in life” is the quote that guides me when I lose myself or when I have to make important decisions.

What’s the one product that’s always in your purse?
My 3D Pepti-Collagen Lips & Contour. This product hydrates and plumps my lips and gives them a rosy tint. A must for all women!

What is a fact about you that would surprise others?
That I have a strong character and I will assume myself. It’s often considered bad for women to have a strong personality. My mom has never “broken” me, and I am very thankful for that, because it is what allowed me to get through a lot in life. Let’s just say that I can take on a lot.

What changes concerning women would you like to see in 2016?
Equal salaries between men and women and obviously more female entrepreneurs.

What is something you’d like to do more often?
Take more time for myself. It’s good to be active, but you need to take alone time as well. Everything is about balance.

What advice would you like to give to today’s women?
You have a dream, a project. Don’t wait on anything to start it! I believe that small steps will eventually lead to a big project. Be independent financially, and do what you love.
