Try to catch a production of “Anne of Green Gables – The Musical” or visit the Green Gables Heritage Place in Cavendish to explore the home of this famous redheaded girl and while you’re there definitely visit the famous Cavendish Beach.
Banff and Lake Louise, Alberta
Banff is not only a rocky mountainous area but it’s filled with electric blue glacial lakes, waterfalls, and wildlife. Stay in Banff if you’re looking for a busier hub and classic hotels like the Fairmont Banff Springs. The streets are filled with shops and restaurants. You don’t even have to walk very far to see the mountains. But if you would like something more adventurous, Lake Louise is where you’ll get hiking trails up into the mountains and you’ll be able to view the wildlife and environment.
Quebec City, Quebec
Get that European vibe without leaving the country. The cobble streets, welcoming people, and quaint houses and shops make Quebec City a wonderful and beautiful place to visit. You can’t forget the amazing Chateâu de Frontenac, it’ll feel like you stepped into a fairytale. The Muskoka Lakes is a great place to get away from the city. You can spend the day on calm waters paddling in a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. There are so many mountain bike and hiking trails.
