Smoothie bowls are a hit right now for good reason. They’re healthy, hearty, and delicious. Here’s a recipe to make a berry smoothie bowl, that’ll only take 5 minutes.
To make the berry bowl, you’ll need: frozen mixed berries, 1 banana, almond or regular milk, vanilla extract, chia seeds, and spinach (or kale if you’re brave. These ingredients are packed with iron, potassium, vitamin A and C, and so much more. Once you’ve gathered all these ingredients, blend them together and pour them into a bowl.
For toppings, you can put anything you want! I like to put sliced strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. You can throw in some nuts for more protein, such as sunflower seeds and almonds. Last but not least, granola is key for berry bowls as it adds a bit more crunch and flavor to the bowl. It will keep you full and satisfied for hours without the extra calories.
