Simply put, the concept of baking makeup is a way of applying makeup in which you let the heat from your face do the job. After hydrating your skin and applying concealer, dust on translucent on the area of your face where you applied the concealer. By using a bit of setting spray and the natural heat of your face, you are able to make the makeup last way longer, and preventing it from creasing. All you need to do is to dampen your makeup sponge with a bit of setting spray and dip it in the same powder you just used. Then, apply it slowly over the area you applied the powder on originally, and wait 10 minutes (let it bake!). After 10 minutes, dust the powder off with a fluffly eyeshadow brush, and you have it. Your makeup is… baked.
Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic uses this trick, in case you were wondering how her skin always looks flawless. This trick is a bit more time-consuming, but if you have that extra time to spare, try it out! The results are gorgeous!
