| Mariève Inoue Editor in Chief
Mariève has been at divine.ca since 2006—and still loves every day of it!This McGill and Keio University (in Tokyo) grad has a thing for cell phones (and can tell you which model each member of divine.ca owns), a major thing for cats (hers has its own Facebook page), and is addicted to karaoke and Instagram. She loves languages (and wishes she could speak a lot more of them), and hates not succeeding the first time she tries something—in addition to white socks, people who type “r u” instead of “are you”, and insincerity.
*Cosmetic product you wouldn’t live without? Concealer and mascara, most definitely.
*Instruments you play? Violin…but I’m also an *aspiring* drummer. *What are you favourite topics to write about? Beauty, technology, and fashion. |

| Vicki Karigiannis English Editor The McGill University graduate is all about pop culture, and you can find her either reading a book, at the movies, or catching up on her favourite TV shows. A first generation Greek-Canadian, she is trilingual, and makes a mean moussaka. (But never as good as her mom’s.) She enjoys travelling, food, spending time with friends, and snuggling with her cat, Abbey. She loathes textspeak (you’ll never see her type LOL) and line-jumpers, and likes to collect coffee mugs and fridge magnets.*Favourite book? I’ve probably read (and watched) To Kill a Mockingbird a million times. Part due to my belief in justice and equality for all, and part my love for Gregory Peck.
*Childhood idol? Raise your hand if you had a crush on Jonathan Taylor Thomas in the early-to-mid ‘90s! *Favourite quote? “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” (Mark Twain) |

| Caroline Élie French Editor
In love with linguistics and languages, Caroline received her BA in French Communication from Concordia University. After a few years spent doing public relations in the beauty industry, she now combines her two passions: writing and beauty! Addicted to everything that’s in and passionate about magazines, she’ll never refuse an offer for dessert, even right after a yoga class. She loves techno beats as well as Charles Aznavour, and never gets tired of boarding a plane.
*What’s in your wardrobe? Too many pastels, creams and beiges; a majority of dresses, and all kinds of prints.
*What’s your fave beauty product? The Chanel Masque Déstressant Éclat antifatigue gel mask, a real shock treatment for tired features.
*Which values are important to you? Transparency, honesty and sincerity—these are precious values that I wish I could come across more often.

| Marie-Andrée Guimont French Editor (maternity leave) Marie-Andrée got her diploma at Laval University in Communications. After deciding to study abroad, she completed her studies in Paris, the City of Lights (joy!). There, she realized where her professional destiny would lead her: she was to work in the fascinating world of fashion! Back on Canadian soil, she started her media adventure by joining the editorial team of a well-known local magazine. Not much time later, her interests turned to the web. Since then, publishing fashion and beauty posts online have become one of her favourite things!*The beauty product you couldn’t live without? Aqualia Thermal Mineral Balm by Vichy, without a doubt. A true armour for my skin that I wouldn’t be able to go without!
*Your favourite Montreal music band? La Patère Rose. I’ve been a fan from the very beginning! *Your favourite dish? Pasta, pasta, and, well, pasta. |

| Katia Jean Paul Associate English Editor After brief academic forays in psychology, linguistics, and filmmaking, Katia, a Communications graduate, set her sights on her first love, writing, and obtained a Diploma of Journalism in 2010. When she isn’t busy writing and translating content for divine.ca, this fashion-enthusiast likes to deliberate on the virtues of dressing well, and unwinds by perusing streetstyle blogs and jumping for joy at the burgeoning return of dandy chic (Amen!). Besides writing, Katia also loves jazz, Old Hollywood films, and… Paul Newman!*Last read? The Measure of a Man by JJ Lee.
*Dream Vacation? St-Germain-des-Prés, Paris.. *(Very) Guilty Pleasure? The Bad Girls Club (there’s just something about grown women duking it out on national television that’s both revolting and completely captivating!)

| Ariane Boisvert Associate French Editor After having started programs like journalism, political science and communications one after the other, Ariane completed her bachelor’s degree in literature. Captivated by any cultural manifestation, she also has no lack of enthusiasm for beauty products (“fresh nail polishes!”), fashion (“saaales!”), candy (“just one more—I swear!”) and décor (“to be changed every season”). What she loves most? Everything new, and especially unexpected.*You couldn’t spend one day without? Bursting out laughing. I have a tendency to over-manifest my joy.
*Your dream trip would be? Japan! After having travelled to Cuba, Paris, Spain, Greece, Mexico and Argentina, I would really love to discover the Land of the Rising Sun. *The beauty product you can’t live without? Without a doubt a quality moisturizer. Twice a day, minimum!.
