Divine.ca invites Canadians to Share the Love with 12 not-for-profit organizations helping women and children
MONTREAL, QC, April 06, 2009 -- Divine.ca, the bilingual online destination for Canadian women, announced today the twelve participants of its charity support program called Share the Love. Through Share the Love, $21,000 will be donated to twelve Canadian charitable organizations whose work makes an impact in the lives of women and children.

The twelve organizations selected to Share the Love are:

Local category: (1) Adsum Association for Women & Children; (2) The KidSafe Project Society; (3) Mothercraft Ottawa; and (4) Rosalie Hall;

National category: (5) Dress for Success; (6) Breakfast for Learning; (7) Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation; and (8) The Sunshine Foundation of Canada;

International category: (9) Free The Children; (10) Canadian International Learning Foundation; (11) Pura Vida Foundation; and (12) 60 million girls Foundation.

Canadians are invited to visit divine.ca to vote online for their favourite nominee in each of the three categories, and their votes will determine the distribution of the donation within each category. Each nominated organization is guaranteed a minimum donation of $500, and each category has $5,000 to be divided among them. Voting will take place at divine.ca from April 6 to May 15, 2009.

“Share the Love provides a way for Canadians to support great organizations during times when they may not be able to support them financially,” says Maya Meyouhas, Editor-in-Chief at divine.ca. “Awareness is key to engaging a larger audience and crucial to organizations who cannot necessarily afford to spend money getting their message out. Showcasing these amazing organizations is a wonderful way to maximize the reach of our online community.”

Voting for ‘Share the Love’ takes place between April 6 to May 15. The final results including the donation amount being awarded to each organization will be announced on May 25, 2009. To cast a vote or for more information about ‘Share the Love’, visit: www.divine.ca/sharethelove
