What’s Your Dating Style?

There are many reasons we navigate the dating scene, from wanting someone to hang with on Friday nights to meeting the potential man we’ll marry. Take our quiz and find out your dating style!

1. What’s your preferred first date location?

A coffee shop: someplace simple to get to know one another a bit.

A pub; it’s a bit on the loud side, but a good place to share a drink with someone.

A romantic restaurant; it’s always nice to start a relationship off on the right foot.

2. When’s the right time to refer to a guy you’re dating as “my boyfriend”?

If the first date is a success, then he gets the label soon after!

It depends on how many dates we go on and when we feel we’ve reached that point.

I don’t like to use the term “boyfriend”. It sounds too constricting.

3. Your new guy decides your next date should take place at his apartment. What’s your reaction?

Sure. It seems like a natural next step in any relationship.

You’re ecstatic! Being invited into his home is a sure sign of commitment!

You’re unfazed. Whether you hang out at his place or in public doesn’t make much of a difference to you.

4. You’ve only been seeing James for a little over a week, but his birthday is coming up. What do you get him as a gift?

Um, nothing? I don’t even know if he’ll be in my life a week from now.

A gorgeous and expensive gift that’ll show him what he means to me.

Something inexpensive based on his interests he shared on our last date.

5. It’s Friday night and you and your new man don’t have any plans to see each other. You:

Call him right up and make plans. If he doesn’t pick up, you sulk at home waiting for him to call back.

Call and leave a message, but still decide to go out with some friends.

Just hit the town with some friends; you have plans to see him over the weekend, anyway.
