The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo

The graceful and beautiful The Social Network actress was barely recognizable as Lisbeth Salander in the American movie adaptation of the cult novel The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo (2011). Mara, who earned a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her portrayal, had her long brown hair cut short, and dyed black, her eyebrows bleached, and pierced each ear four times, as well as her brow and right nipple, in preparation for the role.
