The media knew the twosome’s nuptials were pending when it was found out that they obtained a marriage license in early April 2008. But the question was: when? Just four days later, there was buzz that Jay-Z and Beyoncé had tied the knot. (Beyoncé opened up about their marriage six months later to Essence magazine.) The couple aren’t strangers to keeping mum about big news: the singer didn’t say a word about her pregnancy, announcing it to the world in August 2011 by walking onto the red carpet of the Video Music Awards sporting a sizable baby bump!
