Boasting dual American and British citizenship, actor Andrew Russell Garfield first gained critical acclaim for his role as Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin in the award-winning film, The Social Network.
Although born in the U.S., the actor and his family relocated to Britain when he was three years old. There, Garfield made his mark on the British stage and, soon after, appeared on several British television shows, becoming a household name across the pond after his turn in the BBC series, Doctor Who, in 2007.
The actor’s critically-lauded performance in 2010’s The Social Network garnered him several nominations, including two BAFTA award nominations, and a Golden Globe award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role.
Garfield, who currently stars in The Amazing Spider-Man opposite Emma Stone, made his Broadway debut earlier in 2012, in the revival of Death of a Salesman, alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman. The actor was nominated for a Tony award for his performance.
The rising star is currently in a relationship with his The Amazing Spider-Man co-star, Emma Stone.
