Model-actor Kellan Christopher Lutz first gained prominence for his breakthrough role as vampire Emmett Cullen in the Twilight Saga film series, alongside Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

Originally from Dickinson, North Dakota, the budding actor relocated to California after graduating from high school to attend Chapman University and complete a degree in chemical engineering. But it wasn’t long before Lutz would decide to pursue acting instead.

One of the faces of Calvin Klein’s 2010 Calvin Klein X underwear campaign, the heartthrob has made guest appearances on several television shows, including soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Six Feet Under, and has had recurring roles in television series Generation Kill (2008), and the CW’s 90210, among others. Aside from the Twilight Saga series, his film credits include: Accepted (2006), A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), Love, Wedding, Marriage (2011), opposite Mandy Moore, and Immortals (2011), in which the actor portrayed Poseidon, god of the sea.

Lutz currently appears in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. The actor will also star opposite veteran actor Mickey Rourke in the 2013 action drama Java Heat. Lutz play the titular role in the upcoming CGI-animated film Tarzan, also to be released in 2013.

The actor has previously dated his The Bold and the Beautiful co-star Kaylan Ewell, and 90210 co-star AnnaLynne McCord. Lutz is now in a relationship with Australian actress Sharni Vinson.
