Brooklyn Beckham donates gifts to the homeless
(BANG) -Brooklyn Beckham has bought Thanksgiving presents for the homeless.

The 13-year-old school student - the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham - decided he didn't want his parents to get him anything for the annual holiday, which the family now celebrate as they live in Los Angeles, and instead has saved up his allowance to purchase gifts for those less fortunate than him.

A source said: ''Brooklyn told his mum and dad that he didn't want to receive presents for Thanksgiving this year. He said instead he'd like to donate them to people who need them more.

''Brooklyn asked one of the family bodyguards to take him to a Rite Aid store in Los Angeles so he could buy some first-aid kits to put in the charity parcels.''

Brooklyn also persuaded his younger brothers, Romeo, 10, and seven-year-old Cruz, to do the same and the trio are now looking forward to donating their gifts.

The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: ''He even persuaded his brothers Romeo and Cruz to give up their presents and pocket money for the homeless this year. The lads are planning to give big, fun packages to the local shelter.''

Brooklyn also has a little sister, 16-month-old Harper, who doesn't yet get an allowance.

I like these kids already. Congrats to the parents for raising them in such an admirable way.

David & Victoria have raised great kids.

It's easy to see why they are so generous and thankful...all because of their great parents.

    Hands up to all!

Nice gesture but I had to re-read the article twice to find out what holiday gift giving, Brooklyn was referring to. At first I thought birthday? no, Christmas?, nope. So now Thanksgiving is another day to give and receive gifts?

These kids have obviously been raised right. It's nice to see that not all celebrities' children are like those revolting teens and young adults we see on way to many reality shows.

Who the heck receives gifts on Thanksgiving? Or is this a rich-person thing only?

It must be a rich thing to get presents for Thanksgiving and here all along I thought it was a time to give Thanks . As far as giving his presents to the homeless I'm sure he has everything he wants and more than he needs, I'd be more impressed if he worked at a homeless shelter for a day.
