Angus T. Jones' family fear brainwashing
(BANG) -Angus T. Jones' family and friends are worried he has been brainwashed.

The 'Two And A Half Men' actor recently blasted the show as ''filth'' and urged viewers not to watch it in a video for Forerunner Chronicles, a church which is part of the Seventh-day Adventist movement, and those close to him fear he will give away his vast wealth to the religious group.

A source told E! News: ''His mom is really worried and in contact with the producers of the show. The main concern is that he is going to give away all his money to the church.

''It's like he's been brainwashed. Everyone is shocked and very concerned.''

Angus currently earns $350,000 per episode.

The 19-year-old actor - who has been on the show since he was nine - claimed it contradicts his deep Christian values and he wants to quit.

He said: ''If you watch 'Two And A Half Men', please stop watching 'Two And A Half Men'. I'm on 'Two And A Half Men' and I don't want to be on it.

''Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it's just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch.

''If I am doing any harm, I don't want to be here. I don't want to be contributing to the enemy's plan ... You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't. I'm not OK with what I'm learning, what the Bible says and being on that television show.''

Our neighbour's adult, married daughter was brainwashed into joining a cult. She left her husband for this cult and then people from the cult came to her parent's house asking for her inheritance. Her father told them to go to someplace very, very, hot! I don't think that her parents ever had contact with her again. Very sad.

Just because he disagrees with the content, and let's face it, it is raunchy, doesn't mean he is brainwashed!!! Maybe now that he is old enuf to make his own decisions he chooses not to like it. On the other hand, I am not for cults so I just hope in the end the right things get done.

When people convert to a new religion they tend to be very excited about it. There's a very big adjustment happening and it takes some time to establish equilibrium. He needs to be given a break while he discovers who he is and what he believes. He's only 19.

I do not know much about 7th day Avangelists but he is old enough to make his own decisions.. I do not agree with cults. However even a person with any value core would not want to be involved with this show. It is absolute smut as are many many of the shows that are being put on these days. I myself am sick of the programming that is allowed to be on tv. Just because one has moral value does not make him a cult victim. If he gives his money away to them then he will be making a mistake but it is his to make. I would like to join something that would promote getting all the smut out of the media. This world is becoming a cess pool of filth and those who condone it might as well live in the sewer.

0 others heart this shouldn't be involving itself with networks, programming etc.,etc.,.If you're an adult, you should be making your own decisions as to decide what u watch. He's knocking his own show! Says he's going to give all his money to the church? If it isn't a cult, it's an aweful greedy church. I thought churches were suppose to give spiritual guidence, rating T.V. programs or telling you what to watch.Yes, he's old enough to make his own decisions but he's still an easy target because of his age. Somehow, I don't believe it's his"moral Values" that are speaking....Yes, I do think he needs a break 2 figure out who he is, what he wants, what he wants 2 do in life.I have children that age and they still don't know what they want.Maybe he needs to go back 2 school... who knows...
