At divine.ca we receive a lot of products to try and review. Instead of keeping them all to ourselves, we decided to open up our goody stash to you, our divine members. We are looking for readers who are interested in trying new products (before they are available in stores) and sharing their honest thoughts and opinions about them on the site.
What's in it for you?
You get to try, and keep, a full-sized version of a new product before everyone else. Plus, you get to share your candid opinion of it with the entire divine.ca community (that’s 500,000 people, folks!). You do not, however, get paid for your review. In case you’re wondering.
What we need from you?
As soon as we have a product that needs reviewing, we’ll pick the most appropriate reviewers from the list—based on profiles, survey answers and previous reviews. When you are selected to review a product, you must agree to post your comments on divine.ca within two weeks of receiving it. We may hound you with emails if you don’t.
Why are we doing this?
Because it’s a win-win-win situation. You get a free item. We, and the rest of the divine.ca community, benefit from your honest, unbiased feedback. And the brand builds more awareness around their product—it’s a great way to spread the word.
Sound like something you’d like to do?
It’s easy for any registered divine.ca member to join the Review Squad. Simply follow this link to get added to our list of potential reviewers. It’s totally free to join.
divine.ca Review Squad FAQ
Q: How do you choose who gets to participate in a review?
A: We first send out an email to the existing Review Squad members, inviting those who are interested in participating to sign up for a chance to try the new product. We then post a general call-out on divine.ca, so that everyone interested gets their chance to sign up. From the people who confirmed their interest, we then select a specific number of people, sometimes using criteria specified by the company offering the product.
Q: How will I know if I’m selected to review a product?
A: We’ll email you at the address you provided when you signed up, letting you know that we’ll be shipping you the product shortly. If you don’t hear back from us after three weeks, it means that you have not been selected this time around. Don’t give up, though: there will be many more Review Squad offers and chances to sign up.
Q: How many people are members of the divine.ca Review Squad?
A: Currently, there are about 40,000 members of the divine.ca Review Squad, and the number keeps growing every time we launch a new product offer.
Q: Although I’ve signed up for several of the Review Squad offers, I have still never been selected. Why?
A: Signing up does not guarantee you a free product to review. It simply confirms your interest in trying the product that is going up in front of the panel. We receive many, many submissions from interested Review Squad members, but we unfortunately only have a limited number of products to send out. The good news is that we have plenty more new products that will be going up before the Review Squad, so you’ll have many more chances to get picked!
Q: What can I do to increase my chances of getting picked to review a product?
Well, you’ll never get picked if you don’t sign up! Also, when you do get chosen, make sure to write a detailed review including your first impressions, comments, and constructive criticism. We really value Squad members who take their mission seriously.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of times I can be chosen to review products?
Nope! Just because you were chosen to review one product doesn’t mean you’re not eligible to be picked for the next one—if you’re interested and sign up for it.
