Peasant

Peasant skirts are long, usually gauzy and sometimes have several tiers. They usually have ethnic prints. Peasant blouses are also gauzy, and typically have decorative embroidery. The sleeves also sometimes have an elastic placed a few inches above the the hem to give the effect of a small ruffle at the bottom. Peasant-style accessories are made of suede, and have decorative elements like fringe, beadwork and embroidery.
