Spring is synonymous with ‘renewal’, whether it’s after you’ve gotten rid of everything cluttering your apartment, undergone a body detox regimen, or spring cleaned your makeup. And of course, we love to put away our winter knits and populate our closets with the newest spring fashions. We’ve got the trends that are blooming this season!

Prairie Romance

As is the case every spring, the actual flowers that bloom in nature are a great source of inspiration for our clothes. One of the in looks is one that’s bohemian, but a little rugged on the edges. Floral and gingham prints, a suede jacket, neutral-coloured heels, and short laced booties are some of the items that can be used to achieve this style.

The ’80s are a very influential decade for this spring’s fashions, and we mean everything from Madonna-esque lace gloves, to bright colours, and androgynous styles à la Culture Club. Leather vests, and the double denim look are also all the rage this spring: who would have thought that the denim shirt would make such a huge comeback? Not us, but we love it!

Glam Preppy

Romance is in the air as spring also brings a look that is a bit more prim and proper. Floral dresses, nautical-inspiration pieces, and an all-over glam vibe from the ’50s make up the core. Will you dare to be preppy? Feminine touches like Mary Janes, sandals with ankle straps, and sleek clutches complete the look.

Nice dress,nice shoes but the skirt?That skirt would make my size 12 butt look like a size 20!! Horizontal lines make everyone look wider and I don't know anyone who would want that,ugh!!

The dress is ok, but the shoes and the skirt are a perfect match.
