4 tubes to beautify your lashes

The finishing touch on our daily makeup routine, mascara (and concealer, maybe) may be the only thing we never skip, even when we’re going for a barely-there look. We tried four recent offerings from the makeup gods—check them out below!

1. Lash up!

Half mascara, half serum, Lise Watier’s latest beauty tube has a huge brush that is surprisingly efficient at separating lashes, as well as pumping up the volume. The apple stamina cell derivatives contained in the formula help strengthen lash structure, and helps your fringe to grow, too. 2. Double time

For maximum intensity coverage, this super-densifying formula does the trick. Thick but not clumpy, this smudge-proof, extra volumizing choice is our go-to for a night out on the town. Elizabeth Arden Double Density Maximum Volume Mascara,$24 at Elizabeth Arden counters.

3. Twist + coat

After vibrating brushes from the likes of Lancôme and Maybelline, Quo gives us a revolving brush. Although we were admittedly a bit skeptical at first, we can vouch for its remarkable lengthening effect. What’s more, a touch of the button makes the brush rotate in the opposite direction, keeping application super easy. 4. Beach- + pool-proof

Although we usually don’t opt for a waterproof formula on a regular basis, summer is the season when we wear it the most. Pool party, anyone? A tube you can use even when you’re headed for a swim is an essential in our book.
