You finally got your hands on the must-have for summer: the maxi skirt. While we don’t follow every sartorial rule to the letter, when it comes to skirts of the long variety, you should proceed with caution. A few rules to bear in mind: 1. Given the flowy nature of the maxi skirt, a fitted top or shirt is the way to go to balance things out. 2. Make sure the maxi skirt of your choosing hits your natural waist. 3. Check that hemline! You don’t want your beautiful skirt so low to the ground that it catches dust, rocks, and debris!
