Nescafé Dolce Gusto system

Very easy to use. Coffee products are definitely as good as if not better than traditional coffee shop products. Easy clean up.

I received my Nescafe Dolce Gusto a few weeks ago and I have to say I LOVE it!! The startup was fairly simple and well laid out in the picture laden manual. Once I got it out of the box I had my first cup of coffee within five minutes. The pods are easy to use and make clean up of the machine simple and quick with no mess or fuss. The drinks that took two pods (cappuccino, macchiato, chocochino) did take a bit of trial and error to get the mix of milk and coffee/chocolate just right. However, the effort to figure it out was well worth it as I have really enjoyed my afternoon “pick-me-up”! My friend who is a Starbucks fan tried it and said that the cappuccino would rival anything you’d get the barista to make up for you. The main difference between this machine and others that I have had experience with is the temperature of the beverage – the hot drinks are actually hot and steaming. Often these type of machines give a lukewarm beverage. The only downside to this great machine is the price of the pods. However if you are a regular at a coffee house it is much cheaper than that daily habit. All in all I would whole-heartedly recommend the Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine to my friends (and I already have!!)

Loved the overall look. The accent light allows you to easily see the drink as you fill up the cup. I was pleased with the flavor and the variety of drinks. Nice to see a great hot chocolate for other non-coffee lovers. Have never seen an at home system able to give the milky froth at top. Very easy to use. Literally you make your coffee in 30 seconds. Although I LOVED this unit I did find a couple faults..... if you are a person to sip your coffee, it doesn't stay hot long enough. If you drink right away, you're ok. As well the different varieties give you different amounts of coffee and it was difficult to determine when to shut off the amount (you control when to stop the dispensing of the coffee). After using it for a bit you do get to know how long to let it pour to get a good drink. Overall I did like the product and if you consider the price of specialty drinks at coffee shops the cost of the unit literally pays for itself.

When I received the email that I was selected to review this system, I was stoked! I am an avid coffee drinker to say the least! Unfortunately, I did not receive the product in the mail, and have not received any answers to the numerous emails sent to the divine.ca group, in regards to the situation. I would have welcomed the opportunity to review and sample the system, but could not. I answered the product recommendations based on what I "thought" I might say, givens the chance to try it, but please, do not use them as a guide when buying this product, as I can't say for certain.
