Trial Experience I tried the Danone DanActive strawberry flavored drink.
To me this drink tasted a bit like medecine (maybe it was the sucralose?)and so initially I did not like it very much. But I gradually got used to the flavor and started making a it part of my morning routine.
Preference I like that it's a small bottle and the product is quite runny, so it was easy to drink and before you know it, I’ve finished the bottle. I liked that it felt like I was drinking something that is healthy and good for me.
Product Benefits Danone DanActive is suppose to benefit my intestines on three levels, including the intestinal microflora, the intestinal lining barrier and the intestinal immune system. This drink contains L. casei Defensis bacteria which acts upon the intestine's three natural defenders.

At which moment of the day did you consume it? I usually consumed it in the morning.
Will this product become part of your daily routine? Probably not as I find the product a bit expensive. I’d probably continue to buy the Danone DanActive Probiotic Yogurt Drinks whenever they’re on sale, but would not buy them at full price.
Trial Experience Bought the 8 pack vanilla flavor. One a day plus an extra if you don't shop for a week is a nice touch.
Preference I enjoyed the fact that it wasn't thick. Nice and creamy, but light, texture. Did have a bit of a "banana aftertaste" on my tongue but finished with a vanilla flavor, which is what I had gotten. Only took about 5 swallows, so doesn't fill you up, nice so you can still eat a healthy breakfast. Only 80 calories per bottle and 2% sodium (which is fantastic because so many packaged items out there have a high sodium count). Good size for the kids too, not filling as I said and they can still pack in a breakfast.
Product Benefits The probiotics found in the product are great, especially for the little one, she doesn't have to get a probiotic capsule which is difficult for her to swallow. Very convienent. The probiotics are helpful in increasing good bacteria in your stomach and intestinal track, to aid in digestion.
Kids Appreciation Yes, kids tried it too and they liked it. The little one thought there was a weird taste to it (I think it might have been the slight banana aftertaste), but liked it overall.
At which moment of the day did you consume it? It was a morning thing for us.
Will this product become part of your daily routine? Maybe on occasion. Would be a pricey add-on to the grocery bill with 5 of us consuming regularily (price on 8 bottle was $5.99 at No Frills and 6x5x4 would be tacking on an extra $120 per month to our already sky high grocery bill) Would be great if came in a 2L bottle or some other more economical way.
What about your family? Would consider buying for the little one, only for ease of getting the probiotics into her. Again, pricey option, would be nicer if came in a more economical package.
Trial Experience The drink overall was very tasty. I found it to be a little on the small side, but otherwise very good. The price is a little too expensive for my budget for the amount that you get. Overall, a great product.
Preference I bought the strawberry banana flavour which I thought was really good. It was a good combination of flavours for a yogurt drink.
Product Benefits I understand that is supposed to help build your body's natural defenses and help with your natural digestive health.
Kids Appreciation I do have children and they love yogurt drinks, they usually drink YOP but if these drinks were a little less expensive, I would rather buy these for them. They did enjoy this product though.

Will this product become part of your daily routine? Unless the price comes down a little, I won't be buying this product on a regular basis.
What about your family? As I said previously, the price would be the only reason I wouldn't buy this on a regular basis.
Trial Experience I enjoyed this product. Im not much of a breakfast eater (just 2 coffees) so come lunchtime, im starving. I substituted one of these for a coffee, and I have to say, I was not as hungry as I usually am at lunch. Tasted great, quick and easy snack.
Preference I like the variety of flavours, my favourite was the blueberry.

Trial Experience I've been a fan of Danone yogurt for quite some time but have never tried the Danone DanActive Probiotic Drink. The first few days I found nothing out of the ordinary, but on the 3rd day, I noticed a difference in my food cravings. I felt full longer, and satisfied as well. Shortly before I started the trial, I got my Gel Nails removed and they were super thin, brittle and soft. I also noticed after the 7-8 day, that my nails started getting stronger as well. Total bonus. I've always been pretty regular, but since having my gall bladder taken out a few years ago, my stomach can get "sour" pretty easily. With having a DanActive every morning, I find that my stomach seems a little less tempermental as well.
Preference The flavors are all really good. I like how this is an easy product to grab while running out the door to get the kids off to school. It really is convenient and the portion size is great.

Trial Experience My kids loved it. They would have finished it all in the first five minutes if I hadn't forced them to space it out a little!
Preference I liked that there were lots of appealing flavors and you could even choose packs of just one flavor. I hate getting stuck with 2 sad little containers of blueberry when no one wants blueberry. I also really liked that it has active bacteria and that it tells you which one. Also the sugar content was a little better (but not much) than the competitors.

Kids Appreciation They LOVED it. They are boys aged 10, 7, an 6. It was a hit at breakfast, after school and in the lunch bag.
