For a special event held by the divine.ca Review Squad, we chose a beauty columnist for a day to give the new Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Color Blend Foam a try. Here, new mom Marie-Luce shares her experience with us, and what she thought of her makeover.

“I adored my exclusive beauty makeover! Last Friday, I made my way to the V pour Victoire studio to experience this beauty transformation. My three-week-old son, Pierre-Michel, came along for the ride.  Needless to say, a hair and makeup pampering session was definitely appreciated, especially after many a sleepless night since becoming a mom.

I really enjoyed Clairol’s new product, Nice ‘n Easy Color Blend Foam, which is a drip-free mousse formula. It’s therefore easy to apply, compared to other at-home hair dye kits. Denis Binet, stylist for Clairol, suggested a champagne colour for my hair, a paler hue than I’m generally used to. But the final result is astonishing!

I’ve often used hair dye kits bought at the pharmacy, but this was my first time trying Clairol’s Nice ‘n Easy Color Blend Foam. I noticed that the product’s odour wasn’t as strong as others that I’ve tried, and the colour was brilliant and gave the impression of having more highlights.

I’d like to, once again, thank everyone who made this makeover possible: Denis Binet, for the gorgeous haircut and colour treatment, as well as makeup artist Kate Kova. Thanks to the divine.ca review squad as well, and of course those who took care of Pierre-Michel while I was getting pampered. I believe every new mom should take the time to spoil herself!”

I was so curious about this product when I first saw it advertised. I wanted to try it, but first wanted to see if it was worth it! Your review was great and now I think I am ready to try the new product!

We tried this for my Grandmother's last home dye job. We liked its performance but found the odour stronger than other home colorings she'd use in the past. I couldn't handle the odour - it took my breath away - literally.

I found this product to be very disappointing, it doesn't cover very well. The color fades after a couple of days. It is very messy and stains the sink that you are using. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone

Thanks for the review. I am hoping to try this product shortly. I am having a hard time with finding the colour I want but I will certainly take a look at this product and give it a try!

I found this product to be a disappointment after purchase. The product seemed watery and did not cover well. The colour did last about a week and then started fading fast. I would not recommend this product at this time, maybe after they release the new and improved foaming hair colour I might.
