Back Extension

1. Place yourself on a workout bench (view photo) facing the ground.
2.Cross your arms over your chest.
3.Keeping your back perfectly straight, gently lower your upper body until it is perpendicular to the ground.
4. Slowly return to your original position without curving your back, and repeat.
5. Repeat 6 to 8 times.

    You should post a warning for this one or a safer alternate it is a little tough for someand can maybe cause an injury.

    I love doing this excercise at the gym! But don't have a workout bench at home, suggestion for hoe to do it at home with out the incline bench would be great

    I would suggest doing pilates, stability ball or plank exercises. If your core is weak this exercise will apply too much pressure to the spinal area and cause delayed onset low back pain.



    I would not recommend this exercise.
