The best nutrients are found in the smallest of fruits. Take cranberries, for example: on their own, the latter help prevent urinary infections and certain digestive disorders, in addition to being high in antioxydants. (Something which must has oncologists jumping for joy). In contrast, few dare to eat them as they would eat grapes; after all, they’re far too bitter! Rather, we consume them in juice form, the latter of which is generally loaded with sugar in order to sweeten the taste. On the hunt for an organic, additive-free version of this nectar, we recently go our hands on this Cranberry, Blueberry, and Cherry Juice Blend by Fruit d’Or. Purists will drink it as is, but we prefer it in cocktail and smoothie form for a gently sour, but healthy, touch! Between $5.99 and $7.99 at select grocery stores and natural health food stores. |
