Max Lucado has another written masterpiece! Yet again, we clearly discover that we can make a difference in the lives around us, thus “extending our life”…our good deeds will outlast us. Strong, yet light; however, very effectively uplifting. We can inject hope back into lives by helping others; whether an individual or a crowd. A powerful message is presented, and we should all listen. We all can make a difference, and Lucado doesn’t stop with that fact: he provides modern day examples, Biblical references, offers several suggestions on where to apply your help, and even questions to inspire you.

What I really enjoyed discovering is that everyone can help better the world, even in the littlest way. No one is “too insignificant”, “too busy”, “too unequipped”, or “too poor” to offer a gesture and with it possibly change a life! We can all do so much more than merely live day to day.          

I feel that this book will open many eyes. The money I spend on a daily coffee would be better spent by helping someone in need. My “little gesture” will change that person’s life indeed; however, it will change my life as well.

If you are looking for a way to feel like you have done something, or ways in which you can practice being less selfish, this book would be very inspiring. I do not hesitate in recommending this book. What is truly wonderful is that 100% of all author royalties from the sale of all the Outlive Your Life products will be donated to two charities: World Vision and the James 1:27 Foundation - to benefit children and single mothers! It’s definitely a win/win!!
