Salisbury Steaks were a hit! by legsmom

Hi everyone

I made this simple recipie for my very fussy boys and they all ate it, norave reviews, but I don't expect it anymore.

This comes from the What's Cooking magazine from Kraft. There is a version on thier website, but it has more ingredients.

1 1/2 lbs extra lean ground beef (I think you could use ground chicken too, although you may need to add some fat to keep it moist)

1 box Stove To Stuffing for chicken

1 cup water

Mix and form into patties. They suggest it makes six, although with kids I was able to make 10 decent sized patties. Bake at 375*F for 25 minutes.

I served it with M&M's onion rings, blanched green beans (I ate them) and blanched carrots. I also made bisto gravy for beef (I had that too), the boys ate theirs with Katschup, what else?

Love my What's Cooking magazines, they ahd a few more steps if you wanted to make thier gravy and mushrooms, I just kept it simple
