I go swimming for an hour -5 days a week & still haven't lost anyweight.What gives.I am up to 40 laps and i still don't lose anything.What gives.I thought swimming would be the perfect way to lose weight.I cannot walk because of my diablity & my weight.Tell me something more i can do.

Maybe you could try different intervals - swim intensely for one lap, then switch to moderate intensity for two or three. Repeat, with no rest, until you've completed your 40 laps.
Or try different swimming strokes - front crawl, breast stroke...even try ending with bouts of treading water to work different muscle groups.
