Gas Prices by ohana5
Friday, April 25 2008 at 8:19 am

The other day in the news, they said the average gas price in Canada was $1.24 - it dropped yesterday to $1.18 - can you believe we are jumping for joy when it drops to $1.18?

The news last night said they predict is will go to $2.20 by next year. And then when it is $1.20 you will be excited. This is all getting ridiculous. It's all the supply and demand. The more that want it, the more it goes up. I think that is such a stupid concept, but that's how things go.

There was a note about the US trying to produce for earth friendly fuels with corn, causing the grain prices to go up and having shortages of food. But the problem is, it said the use a gallon of oil to produce a gallon of corn fuel. That's just plain stupid. So people can't afford food because they are wasting it on a fuel that needs another fuel to make it.

And China is booming right now and buy lots of it. But more people buying makes prices go up.

argh!
