Hello Ladies,
Sorry I haven't been online lately. I went to Nova Scotia for a vacation. AWESOME!!!! I love it there.
I had intended to say goodbye to all of you before I went but you all know Murphy's Law right?
My internet server box thing quit working the day before I left so I didn't have time to get it fixed. So just let me say this to you all - - -
Goodbye idivine friends. I will be offline for the next 3 weeks as I am leaving for a vacation in Nova Scotia. I'll catch up with you all when I get back. Have a great summer everyone.

Hello Ladies,
Just got back from my vacation. It was AWESOME!!!! A little cooler there than Ontario but oh well. Found some great beach treasures and had a wonderful time. Hope you are all having an excellent summer.

This Is Me

Well. okay ladies, you didn't ask for it, but this is me.
I went outside to clean out a Step 2 sandbox/wading pool, crab shaped thing with a lid so I could give it to the grandkids. As the lid wasn't on it properly some rainwater got in. As I was cleaning it, I noticed some little swimmers. My first thought was tadpoles and I didn't want to disrupt them. I left it for the time being.
I then realized that they weren't tadpoles but mosquito larvae. The next day as I was dumping out the water, the only thought going through my head was "they're babies, babies of anything are cute".
Yep, that's me ladies . . Big Softie

Me, I got a triple whammy. I woke with a headache only to see that dreaded white stuff on the ground and I also had to make my own coffee as no one else is up yet.
Well always on the positive side . . . I'm glad I'm not going out for breakfast as then I would have to clean the snow off the car. Should hopefully be melted by the time I go for dinner.

Eeeewwww Yuck!!!
It is snowing here today. After all that nice sunny, warm weather and now this. Ugh!
Oh well, I suppose we still got off lucky as March can have some pretty nasty snowstorms.
Soon it will be April and we all know that
"April showers, bring May flowers"  |

How I Spent My New Year's Eve

Well left home at 3:30pm and didn't get home until 1:50am. No I wasn't out partying. My husband and I had dinner with my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. After my daughter and her husband went out to a party, We got to play with the babies . . . at least until their bedtime. After that we played with the Wii my daughter got for Christmas. It was fun but it was the first time I had played that so I pretty much sucked at it.
When we got home it was nearly 2am so I went straight to bed.
I love my cats but when they started scrapping so I would get up and get their breakfast at 6am I could have thrown them both outside. Not to worry I would never do that but I was still pretty tired when they woke me. (grumbling) Great way to start the new year getting up after only 4 hours of sleep waaaah! |

So Much for Peace and Quiet

Well today was the first day in several that I didn't need to go out or visit anybody. And nobody was coming to my house to visit me. I had planned to take it easy, enjoy some peace and quiet, and not do a heck of lot . . . and guess what!
The gas company calls to say they are coming in the afternoon to change the meter. Probably to one that counts double time ( I am so suspicious). Today it is so cold out and they have to turn off the gas to change the meter. Then they have to enter my house to relight the pilot lights, so now I have to get dressed too.
Jeepers, you'd think they could've sent a notice, or chose a warmer day, or at the very least not come the week between Christmas and New Years.
Anyway, they were here and went, the house is warm and all is well. At least until I get my next bill. |
