BBQ Chicken Recipes

Hey everyone! Last weekend I attempted my first ever beer can chicken on the BBQ and thankfully it turned out amazing! I was surprised with how juicy and flavorful the chicken turned out.

I ended up rubbing the chicken in Creole seasoning and adding a bit of garlic, lemon juice, thyme and more Creole seasoning into a can of Coors Lite. It only took about an hour and a half to cook the chicken on medium indirect heat and it came off perfectly cooked. It was fall of the bone yummyness and the smell of the Creole seasoning while it was cooking was amazing. I love putting that stuff on everything, even in my omelettes in the morning!

I'm definitely going to be repeating this recipe again but I think  I might switch up a few things such as the beer and the rub. I put a bit too much Creole so it was a bit too much heat for some family members.

Do you have any rubs that you'd recommend I do next time on the chicken, or different beers?
