I have been choosen 1 of 10 finalist with our local radio station to Win a Bathroom Renovation.
I need Votes, voting is once per IP address every 24 hrs, but only until Sunday April 10

So I have spent the last half hour trying to figure out why I no longer receive email notifications from this site when someone makes a comment on my blog, photos or on my board,,,
Sure wished I could figure it out,,cause without those emails I simply forget to check in here most days,,,
Hope your all doing Great,,and hoping to check back in here more often,,cause I have been missing out on whats been going on here,,, |

Wishing you all the Very Best Mothers Day Weekend...
Is gonna be a quiet weekend for me,,hubby is refreshing his first aid for work all weekend,,all day today and tomorrow,,and my youngest dd whom lives @ home has a boyfriend so you know how much I see of her...
I work later today and off tomorrow and will have the house all to myself,,so a peaceful day for me..
I know my girls in Alberta will call in the morning,,they always do,,
Anyhow,,Hope you all have a Great Weekend |

Hair Donation

So after many years of growing her hair out,,my youngest dd decided last week that she wanted her hair short again,,,she has always been kinda of a tom boy,,,and always had short hair when she was younger,,then began growing it out yrs ago ,,
She went yesterday and got it done,,Looks fantastic,,,and she ask the hairdresser about donating her hair to make wigs for those with cancer,,the hairdresser said that would be fantastic and told her were to take her hair,,a nice dark hair long wavy ponytail
Maria herself dropped it off at the place on her way to work this morning,,,they were soo happy to receive it,,,gorgerous color they said and very different to have a 20 yr old drop off all natural hair,,she has never died nor perm and rarely ever used any kinda hair product on it,,,They were very happy to receive it,,,And it was so sweet of her to think of donating to that great cause,,,,
Remember if you or someone you know has long hair and is gonna get it cut short,,,check into donating the hair so wigs can be made for those whom have cancer

Spring is Here

Well here it is,,Spring ..been a while again since the last time I blogged here,,,I also enjoyed reading everyone else's blogs today and just catching up with you all.,
I am enjoying a quiet Saturday at home alone,,David gone out with buddies and Maria at work
I worked lots this week and for the passed two weeks I have been doing spring cleaning again in my house,,,on the main floor I have washed ceilings, walls, windows, floor etc etc,,cleaned out cupboard and closets and have taken loads to the dump and to the salvation army,,,,I stil have half my kitchen and my living room to finsh on the main floor,,,hoping to be all done by Easter.
Oh and the best,,,Ashlee Albert and Jaxson (my grandson) are coming home for Easter,,I can't wait,,so I keep myself busy then the days go by faster,,,
Our weather has been very spring like already for some time,,,we basically as far as I am concerned didn't even really have winter,,,not once this winter did we have to plow our driveway,,,I am now worried and concerned that we may run into big troubles here come summer,,no enough moisture during winter and we will have water shortages and the bush is soo dry there will be the threat of bad forest fires again,,,,
So far this year I haven't won too much in the contest department,,,entering like crazy but ,,,,,

Then I entered Daisy and Charlie (our dogs) in the Eukanuba Proud Parent Contest,, Each week, the profile with the most votes will win a year’s worth of Eukanuba customized dog food (arv $600.) and will be one of the seven contenders for the Grand Prize of a trip for two (plus doggy) for a professional .
I am sure Daisy won this pasted week,,she did have the most votes, I will probably get my confirmation email sometime on Monday,,,
Which is great,,,I didn't realize how much more dog food we would go through having 2 dogs,,,,
So yeh,,,not much else is new,,,Hope you all are doing OK and having a Great Weekend,,,
