Hey Wendy,,,,
Glad to hear your bladder is better,,,hoping it stays so ,,so that you can enjoy your trip,,,
Fires have toned down a bit,,had a bit of rain yesterday,,,
yes very sad about kids in cabin fire,,,fire is I think the thing I am most scared of,,,
Is quiet around here right now,,but by wednesday of this next week,,I will be busy,,my nephew, his fiance and Bobbi lee and her boyfriend will be out from Alberta on Wednesday,,then we are all going to go camp out at Mable Lake,,David is happy Salmon Fishing opens on the lake today,,so he will most likely be doing tons of fishing,,,
so to be able to get a camp site for the Aug long weekend,,we will have to go out there the day after tomorrow,,and hope we don`t get stuck in the over flow camping area the whole time,,would be great to have a campsite...
Anyhow,,gotta run and do my chores,,,

Hi Wendy
Ok so as not to get into a long story in 2002 I had my colon (large intestine) removed all of it and left me with a colostomy bag. In 2004 a had another surgery where they made a pouch on the inside called a J-pouch or pelvic pouch with the small intestine this way I no longer had a colostomy bag. In 2006 I became very ill and had an emergency surgery once again where there was a tear in the pouch and I had feces going through my body for they quested 2 years there fore I had to have that repaired and I also had a abcess on my ovary so they had to remove that as well once again I had to have a colostomy bag . I have been fighting an infection for it will be 3 years come this october. The sinogram I had done was to determine if the j-pouch was in good working order and to make sure I had no fistula`s. Which I don`t thank goodness. Yesterday I had a MRI this is to see what the cause of the infection is!!
The surgery will be to either take down the j-pouch inside or to remove the colostomy bag on the outside Im guessing you know which way I want this to go!! So now I wait for the results and than meet with my surgeon to discuss my options... whewwwww sorry thats about as short as I can cram 7 years of a tough journey... take care and thankyour for being such a wonderful invisible friend... lol toodles

Ah,,sounds like a fun trip,,,yeh but road trips with family can also be stressfull,,so take care,,
Tomorrow is the funeral for my cousins son,,will be a big one,,hugh family then all his friends,,,also will be very sad
Well don`t know if you have heard any news yet,,,but this hot windy dry weather here has now become very dangerous,,,the Westside of Kelowna is now battling a very bad forest fire,,,,many people have been evacuated and many homes have been lost to the fire...right now there are 4 forest fires burning in our area,,,and all of them are not really that far away from us,,,,real feeling for all those in Kelowna right now,,,those whom have lost their homes already and all the evacuees whom don`t know if their homes are gone or not yet,,,
Anyhow,,a lazy Sunday here,,not doing much,,,Maria is at the track,,race day today,,,she may call for us to go get her and Guss later,,,but will have to wait and see,,,

hi there, great to hear from you , i hope i have everything ready if not oh well , just have the last minute things to do next week and pick up things too, we decorate the hall on friday afternoon too. that will be busy, we are not going any where but in the spring of 2010 we are going to moose jaw to the mineral hot spa for 2 days that will be our honeymoon , looking forward to that wish some of you guys were closer it would be neat to get together and meet everyone
