Hi Wendy, sorry for the delay in replying - I seem to only visit the site when I`m at work, so I don`t always have a chance to type...LOL. Just pop in to see what`s new.
I really hope Robyn is doing better! I remember how hard it was in high school, feeling like you would do anything to fit in, including starve yourself. It`s just a self-esteem thing, and peer pressure. Maybe once she realizes that if she doesn`t eat, she`ll actually put on weight when she does - perhaps she`ll think it`s good to eat something at lunch. I`m sure you`re stressed out to the max about it!!!! Stay strong girl!! I remember my mom telling me I would end up in the hopsital with IV if I didn`t eat... and that wasn`t enough to scare me back then! Teenagers...grrr... LOL.

Hey Wendy,,,,I am doing good,,and so is everyone else ,,David has been working all weekend,,he is pooped out but work is work and we need the money,,I talk to my girls just about every day,,,we all go through withdrawls if we don`t talk everyday,,LOL...Maria is at the present un employed,,her job in Jasper ended on Oct 15th,,was a seasonal job,,so she is in Edson and is living with my sister and putting out resumes everywhere but she is being a bit choosy over where she really wants to work,,,
Yeh I do really like my job,,it is fun,,,I only work 1 day this week,,one of the girls needed a couple days off so the way it all worked out,,I only work 1 day this week but 4 days straight next week..I don`t mind I will help the other girls out cause they are all helping me out near Christmas,,,Looks like David and I are going to Alberta for Xmas and the other girls are covering a couple of my shifts so I have a week off...
Jaxson is doing great,,he is gaining weight but is still a nice small baby,,he is 9wks old now and weigh about 10 lbs maybe a bit more...Ashlee is still nursing but is also supplimenting some formula bottles during the day..
Our weather has been nothing but rain for gosh just about the last week,,
Hum,,,so her blood work came back ok but didn`t the doctor do anything else to find out why she has been passing out,,,I would still be worried...what kinda blood tests did he do,,,so if she is not eating properly maybe the doctor should do blood tests to see what mineral or vitamin her body is not getting enough of,, Well I hope she is doing better,,yeh get her eating well balanced meals ,,that probably will help a lot,,,
Anyhow,,it is Monday so that means I got housework to do,,,the regular Monday morning chores,,,
Well should go and get busy,,,

Hi Wendy,
I have been ill with pneumonia, got some meds andI starting to feel better. When it comes to Robyn and her not eating properly, that would make her blood sugar drop and that is why she is passing out. Do yourself and her a favor and thake her back to a doctor and ask him to do glucose tolerance test, she might have borderline Hypogycimia and it will not show up on regular blood test.I have the same thing, and my sugar level on regular blood test always comesback normal, but when I do the test at home with blood sugar meter it is always lower tha normal and I will do it usualy just short time latter after my blood test. If that is it she will just have to learn how to eat properly.
As far as weather goes we had dusting of snow overnight and it`s -2 here. Hugss sarah

Oh i am so glad for you, that is such a relief, you must all feel so much better, well no school here today, selena is taking the baby sitters course and quite nervous if she fails it,, there so many people there, i was even nervous!! Lots of snow here, dave and i went out and behaved like children, we helped the kids make a snowman and lit sparklers, hee, our santa claus parade is this weekend,it did rain much of the weekend, and is still yucky today, snowsqualls all day, YUK!! Hope you are having a great day!!!

Hello Wendy so happy to hear back from you...yep finally got all my laundry irioning and housework finished..do not want to leave a dirty house or come back to one,,,although Franks good at housekeeping when I`m not here...So the fashion show was great will post pictures when I come back...boy never ever saw so much chocolate in my life it was flowing everwhere and food and drinks my god so much..I won the contest through Cadbury site and a great win $100.00 worth of chocolate and the tickets for the show and then when we left we got gift bags with more chocolate and other stuff like a watch ..was fun..so how are you Larry and the girls doing,,,hope things are going well but I`ll have to wait till I get back to hear from you...Have a great week and will see ya back here on the 18th...

I am glad it helpt. And gues what I went trough the same thing as you with my mom and my grandmother, my dad got kicked out of or family when I was 4 and good thing too. There is nothing wrong with merriage counceling my X and I did it too every time we ran into comunication trouble. Trust me I did my share of yelling at my kids at first untill it clicked in that they are not listening, I am just sharing what learned from my mistakes, glad it`s helping. My 2 girls are 35 and 34 now and have their own kids. My older ones son is acting up and is in trouble now(he`s 10), so I get a phone call every day from her, asking for advice. My grandaugther is only 5 so no problems yet, Dave has 3 kids of his own, they live 45 minuts away from us and his daugther gave us hard time in past year, I told her you can come and live with us or you are on your own. Well she decided she didn`t need help so now she is a mom of 5mo old boy and only 19, her problem.
Daves wife died from cancer when kids where young so they grew up with an aunt, he was trucking at the time. My X and I are still good friends ant it was him that set Dave and me up LOL. We have been together only for 3 years and our first wedding aneversary is on Christmas Eve, but for us it feels like we have been together forever. Now we are raising his sisters 2 daughters 15 &17 and girls realy like living with us. I think I am crazy because I just love having kids in my life, all the kids in town come and see me when they have problems, thank god their is only about 15 regular ones.
You can talk to me any time you need some advice or something, hugsssssss sarah.

Hey Wendy,,,I sure hope you all get some answers soon as to what Robyn`s problem is,,cause I think it would be soo scary not knowing for sure what is causing her to pass out...gosh yeh that time of the year when bugs go around like crazy..
I haven`t been up to too much,,I work about 3 days a week which is great,,gets me outta the house and socializing some,,,
Not much else is new here,,the girls are all doing great,,
My computer is in the shop again,,kinda pissed that it is,,but what can you do,,so luckily enough my sister lent me her laptop until I get my computer tower back,,am hoping I get it back today..
Anyhow,,gotta go and start my chores for the day and then gotta work this evening 6-10pm...

Thanks so much for the good advice...right now she won`t even acknowledge my existance except if she needs something, ie, bus pass, prescription renewals, etc, otherwise she just ignores me...even when I try to talk to her she snaps at anything I say....so its hard to even talk to her at this point...tonight is meeting #2 at the DBT clinic (Dialectique behavior therapy) so well see how that goes

Wendy did you ever think about putting your girls in to modeling, if they are 5`7` anybody will take them, because the definatly have what it takes. My younger one did it for few years.

You should be proud of your self, you just took a step in right direction. Proud of you that when you grounded them you also tooke all their goodies away, that is how it should be. Trust me other parents do it too but kids will never admit to it, specialy to their friends. Other smart thing you and your hubby did was stopping all the yelling in the house. This is gods honest trueth; when my mom would yell at me I use to hate it so mutch that I would tell her why don`t you just smack me, atleast I will feel it for few days and have something to think about. My daugthers told me that they felt the same way when we where yelling at them. You know what they say: `What goes around comes around`. If you are having any merrital problems solve them without girls being involved in it. Here is one good advice: if girls start yelling when you are discusing things with them, you walk away, they will get mad, but all you have to say the smart one always walks away when things are going no where. It will definatly make them think next time. Trick is to not let them see they are getting on your nerves, they just love it when they know they are able to upset you. Can`t take credit for this advice, it was my grandmothers to every body with problems. When I was raising my girls I had no family in Canada at all, and had to relay on myself, my X was a big kid too(LOL). You say that you love being a mother, same here and that is our strent.
We had good Halloween too, gave out lots of candies and had nice weather to. Our neices went to a party at friends house and had a good time. They are my hubbies of three years sisters kids. The moved in with us because their parents are divorced and both are screamers and yellers, we don`t do that, and it was them that told us best thing about living with us is no yelling, even when they get in trouble. So here it is from teenagers mouth, yelling is no good. Girls have changed 100% in very short time, now we have sit down and discussion time once a week, even I have learned something from it.
We are having nice warm and sunny weather too. Good luck hope this helps and you don`t have to take my advice if it doesn`t work for you, but I am hopping you can use some of it.
