Many years ago I took up painting as a hobby but I don`t have the patience nor was I very good. My parents thought I was wonderful and they hung a few in their house (isn`t that just what parents do) haha

This is a not soo cold day -23/-19 they say going to get out for a walk today Neck is still sore got rear ended on my way home on wednesday. got to go see doc again on Monday he`s thinking I may have cracked vertbrate wanted to get expert opinion on xray over wkend so I find out tomorrow. Hi there...I know what you mean about chores...it seems like I`m always doing laundry. I`ll be having a quiet w/e as it is calling for a major storm here up to 30cm. Seems like every other day there is a snowstorm. Too bad I wasn`t a winter person. Got to go I`m cooking a turkey.

I hear you. I love it when Terry goes out, I love being alone just me and Dakota. He is pretty good and rarely gets on my nerves but I have always liked being alone in the house for some reason.
We had a nice sunny day here today and I finally got dressed and went out today after spending the last few days in the house. Hubby and I went to the casino and donated a few dollars but I love those slot machines so it was fun and then we had supper there.
I am now just waiting for my youngest niece to call to get picked up from the Spice Girl concert but I don`t really feel like going back out. Perhaps I will get Terry to go, he is pretty good so it shouldn`t be a problem.
I am happy to see that you are feeling better.
P.S. I am in agreement with your oldest daughter re the modern stuff. We have a few old pieces from Terry`s grandmother but I have them stored in the bachelor apartment that we use for storage.

when i had my kids , the first one i was 16 years old, (i lost the baby in miscarge) the second i was 18 et le last one i was 24 years old. No , i don`t have little ones , my boy`s want`s kids only in a couple of years

Hi Artsee Thorsby Alberta is about 40 miles from Edmonton Ab. Our population is 954 /- a few depending on whos home. Weather has been really cold last few days ie -42 Its warming up now on;ly -26 today coldest cold snap in several years. If you google Thorsby Ab several local town websites will appear. Freezing rain is really scarey keep safe and be home if you can. You asked what my new business is a while ago. I am working with several small retail chains and independants to improve their merchandise presentations. Its slow going but seems to be steady and improving.

You are really brave, I can empathise with you to some extent, as I have undergone 3 back surgeries. It`s so frustrating after every surger you have to start from baby steps, but that is life with its ups and downs, Our loved ones keep us going, I find that this forum has helped me a lot, as I can let go of my self and it feels like I have so many friends sharing my buirden and problems, they seem to float away.

Do keep up your spirit and know that everyone here is there if you need a sympathetic ear.

Hello Artsee - Sounds like you have great girls and that is so sweet that they used their babysitting money to buy pizza
You obviously did a fabulous parenting job.
It is not very cold here today 4 but but there is a ferocious wind howling out there and the streets are icy so I opted to spend another day all cozy at home. I am not a great lover of the winter months and so am elated that I can pick and choose what days I want to go out. My husband on the other hand feels a need to go out every day, he likes the fresh air and I say bah to winter fresh air haha. Today he wanted both of us to go to the supermarket but I quickly nixed that idea so off he went without me. He will pick up whatever and then I can go later during the week for things he didn`t get.
Anyway, hope you are having a good day.

Actually I`m in London for work for the time being, so the weather doesnt get so extreme. I wish I could say the same thing about the people...
