Reading Contest Rules

Even if your on a forum, or perhaps a sweepstakes site, that gives you the basics for rules. Such as Daily entry, Quebec excluded, One per Household etc.

~ There's lots of contests out there "Where you can win a Weekend vacation" but when you read the rules, it does not include transportation
~ Also in the rules it will say it's Canada wide. So if you live in British Columbia and the weekend getaway is in Ontario ~ You need to ask yourself "Are you willing to pay for transportation. Especially if the prize is non transfer.
Another Example ~ Win a Trip outside the country for an event And it's this month for example
~ But you don't have any holiday time left, and you know you can't afford to take time off with pay. Then you should simply skip this contest.
Age: What is the age that you must be when entering?
The majority of the contests are Age of Majority of the province.

Whom in your house can enter?
Does the contest specify One per person or does it say "one per household" or does it not say either way?
If it's one per person, then you can try and convince your spouse to join you in to the contesting hobby you are trying to get into, and let them enter into the one's that allow "one per person".
How many times you can enter a contest.
Some contests are simply confusing on ways of entering. It may not be clear. Such as You can enter every pin, or perhaps for every UPC code. Or it may be a Total number of entries Like 45 .
Another example is There is an entry, then a voting section. You can vote daily, but can only enter once. You may gain Entries for referring friends as well.
