About Me

I am 55 years old and on Disability.I have a disease called neurofibromatosis.It`s called NF1 for short.It means I have tumors on all my nerve endings throughout my body.Mine are mainly inside and it is painful but i stay positive.There is NO cure.

My Interests

I love to craft,read and watch TV.I am home all the time except for appointments so have to make my own interests.

My Favourite Musics

I love most music.The only thing I can`t stand is twangy country.I come from a family that is musical so I learnt from an early time to embrace it all.

My Favourite Movies

I love Ghost,Dirty Dancing,A Walk to Remember(cry everytime I see it).

My Favourite TV Shows

All CSI`s ,but love Miami one more.Survivor and most other Reality shows.Desperate Housewives and Extreme Makeover Home addition! I cry at that show every Sunday!

Love Danielle Steele,Amy Tan,Nora Roberts,

My Favourite Stores

Love Wmart,Shopper`s,Eden Collection(they sell candles and fragerances) . I love Party-Lite.It is not a store but I buy their product all the time.Love Sears..

My Favourite Sport Activities

Love to watch figure skatiing... After that my tv is allergic to sports...lol .. well maybe I do like to watch Curling .. I yell at the TV alot on that one ... lol

My Family(mom is 91)... my neice whom I love so much.. she is my blessing in life...

My Greatest Achievement

My greatest acheivement would be always learning and grabbing life and NOT letting my disease grab it for me....

My goals for the year

My one goal is to stop smoking again..I know I can because I did it before...It is time to do this NOW!!!! My other goal is to make people aware of this disease.I want everyone to know about it,hear about it...I want it out there .I want the word NF to be a household name like other diseases are.I can honestly safely bet 98% out here know nothing of it.I want to see articles written..etc. etc.
