 About Me
About Me I work, I`m a mom, a wife, sister, daughter, daughter-in-law, cousin, housekeeper, cook, renovator, pet-looker-afterer, landscaper and agenda keeper. Most of these I love, some not so much.
My Interests I love reading, crocheting, baking, canning... I`m a geek.
My Favourite Musics Alternative, 1970`s country, radio stuff.
My Favourite Movies Anything that makes me laugh, cry or zone out.
My Favourite TV Shows I don`t watch a lot of tv. I have a husband and children, and they have a Wii. Enough said.
My Favourite Books I love intelligent chick-lit - not the harliquin romance type - the kind that has swearing and talks about the sparks your pantyhose make when you walk across a dark room.
My Favourite Stores I hate shopping, except for groceries. I love grocery shopping! It something about the planning and organizing, and I don`t feel guilty taking the time to do it because it`s a necessity.
My Favourite Sport Activities pfh! none.
Things I can`t live without clothing, food, water and shelter from the elements
My Greatest Achievement Having my children - I`m sure that one`s not overused. But it`s true.
My goals for the year I want to have a simple, injury/ailment free year for my family. There is comfort in simplicity.

My boys are really into Pokemon. I very sporatically write notes and put them in their lunchboxes: `Mommy loves you!`, `I think you`re funny and smart` etc. They rarely noticed (because they are 6 and 7). One night while making their lunch I decided to make them each a homemade Pokemon card. They were so excited when they came home. My heart was all warm and fuzzy until I found out that my 7 year old traded his for a real Pokemon card at school that day. Then I didn`t know if I should be proud that another child thought it was trading-worthy or upset that my child didn`t treasure my artwork. Maybe that`s how the kids feel when they spot one of their drawings in the recycling bin. Just a thought.
