About Me

I have a wonderful son and daughter-in-law. My friend and I have two cats, Purnima and Nova. I have diabetes and I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks causing agoraphobia.

My Interests

Reading! I love books particularily mystery, romance and mythical themes. They are a great way to escape the day to day and a lot cheaper than a vacation! I enjoy playing computer games and watching tv - but only if it interests me. If there is nothing on tv in the evenings that I want to watch I`m snuggled in bed reading.

My Favourite Musics

I rarely listen to music anymore but when I`m in need of a good cry I tune in to CMT.

My Favourite Movies

Hmmm - hard to say. If I enjoyed a movie, that tends to be my favourite until the next one lol.

Some reality shows Amazing Race Survivor Big Brother Also: House Bones NCIS Ghost Whisperer

My Favourite Books

Anything by Dean Koontz Nora Robert also as JD Robb Jeffery Deaver Janet Evanovich (this could go on for hours folks!)

My Favourite Stores

Well I used to work at Zellers so I have to say them even though I hate the fact that Hudson Bay sold out to Americans. Jayne gets amazing bargains at the Dollar Store and Liquidation World/

My Favourite Sport Activities

I realize that I could be deported for this but I just don`t get hockey! I do enjoy watching baseball (Go Jays Go) and sometimes golf. Heck in a pinch I`ve even watched darts, pool and poker ... are those sports? lol I guess it depends on how physical you get while you play!

Hey there ..sorry have`nt written lately, summers seem to be too busy for me! I miss the school yrs when I get some quiet time! Judith our youngest goes into high school this Sept, and our oldest graduates this coming year..where does the time go? How are you doing? How`s your health? I am doing better..so grateful for that, also been swimming lots to cool off...my brother in law stayed with us for 2 months and now has his own place with 2 pools! We don`t have air conditioning any more..so getting wet sure helps!

Wow..you sure have your hands full with all the meds and all. I can relate to having to take meds , as I do have many! Not fun! Am not feeling well today, had to put bag back on..aarrg. Well got to sleep at around 3am, same with Judith, as she has strep.

Hi Elaine and thanks SOOOO much for believing in me....that means A LOT! Some days I wonder if I I can continue, but my higher power seems to give me the energy I need to keep going..or it`s the ever ready batteries! Ha Ha....thank God for humor! Glad to hear that you are feeling better..when did you get diagnosed with diabetes? How long have you been on insulin? Do you take injections or pills? Gee....I sure ask lots of questions huh? You can answer if ya want. If you want to catch up on my life...just read my blog! Am enjoying some peace and quiet now and finally getting to the computer to catch up here, as I do miss you and the ladies when I don`t get here! Larry still has an issue with me being on the computer! Thank God he is going to Al Anon....as it does help him reconize his control issue!! Me too! Right now we are looking at a house we may put a bid on...it has 4 bedrooms instead of 3, and an extra bathroom....which would be so great, as we are living with one and 5 people....more when company comes! Well enough of my complaining.....not really....as I do enjoy people...but like my quiet times as well.

Well Helloooooooo Mrs. D. :-p glad you are cooled down now..well its so HOT here we have the central AC going and at night we just have the bedroom window a/c going it takes a lot of heat of the Central one..gosh Hydro bill will be outrageous ,,,But I love the Heat..better than that white stufff..oh Shhhhh it will be back before we know it..and guess who will be gone south again..gosh i don`t like winter..Have a Great day and ttys

Thanks for the take it easy, and one day at a time...I sure need reminded of that once in a while! Finally able to get out and back to meetings.....went last night and there was a friend of ours celebrating 11 yrs, and also a one year celebration..such miracles! I am always so inspired by listening to the members! Like my medication for me!
