A mutual fund in which a fee (sales charge or load) is applied at the time when the investor sells the mutual fund shares within a specified number of years, usually ranging between five to ten years.
A fund that invests in a mixture of stocks, bonds and money market securities. Also known as a diversified fund.
A pessimistic market condition, in which the prices of securities are falling or are expected to fall.
Refers to the person who benefits from the terms of a trust, a will, an RRSP, an annuity or a life insurance policy.
A fund which invests in bonds issued by companies and governments. Also known as a fixed income fund.
