The holidays are the time of year when people get carried away with their spending, which is why creating a budget is crucial. Keep your finances in order for the season by making a list as early as possible of who you’re buying gifts for and what you’d like buy to them. Don’t forget to also write down additional holiday expenses such as food and travel. Once you’ve put your budget in writing, make sure to stick to it so you don’t wind up wracking up unnecessary debt.
