Avoid Mirrors in Large Rooms

Have a large space in your home that you want to make look small and cozy? If so, avoid mirrors. Much like mirrors are great to make a small room look larger, it can do the same for a big room, too. If you want to have a mirror, however, use smaller ones instead of full-length, and make sure it faces away from a window or any other sources of light.
