I'm back!
Tuesday, October 20 2009 at 10:31 am

Whew! I was away from idivine for a bit on another project here at 'headquarters' so a lot has been going on. I've missed you all though!

I got married on October 11th so that was pretty thrilling but in all honesty, I'm really glad it's over. There's so much planning and stress that goes into getting hitched and it's nice to have my full attention back on things that I've neglected for a bit.

Here at divine, we launched the Scratch for the Cure contest which you've all heard about by now and we're brewing up a contest with Blue Rodeo so stay tuned for that one. The team has been blogging quite a bit on our Team Blog - so if you're intersted in more news, gossip and reviews, do check us out here..

Cocktails anyone?
Thursday, July 23 2009 at 2:53 pm

I'm hoping that I'm not encouraging anyone to drink seeing as for me it's only 2pm on a Thursday afternoon, but one of divine's editors just posted an article about some classic cocktails and it set me off for craving a Ceasar.

http://www.divine.ca/en/food-and-home/articles/c_17_i_3735/classic-international-cocktails-1.html

What are your favorite drinks - alcohol or alcohol-free?

I think my top 5 drinks would have to be:

1. Ginger Ale
2. Mint tea
3. Red wine
4. Perrier
5. Ceasar

Now I'm thirsty....

Sunshine please!!!
Wednesday, July 22 2009 at 12:21 pm

Montreal is really having the most dreadful weather. The amount of rain that is falling and the fact that I'm craving stew and hot chocolate rather than ice cream and salads is really a sign that this summer has been a wash.

I'll keep crossing my fingers that the sunny days will come for August before Fall hits.

Hot yoga anyone?
Wednesday, July 15 2009 at 11:23 am

So have any of you tried hot yoga? We just posted an article on it and I wish I would have read it before I tried my first class a year ago.

I don't think I hydrated myself enough and I was at a class that Robert Downey Jr. was also in. He was in town filming a movie and I don't think I would have recognized him had half the class not gone into freak-out mode pointing him out.

I think I'll be passing on any further hot yoga classes unless maybe Edward Norton takes it up and comes here for filming...

Here is a link to the tips. I'd love your feedback on Martha's article so if you found it useful or interesting, please be sure to leave her a comment.

Thanks ladies!

The Powder Room
Monday, July 13 2009 at 2:24 pm

I'm not sure how I came across this website, but I thought it featured a very cool interactive Powder Room finder where you can locate and rate bathrooms across Canada.

As someone who appreciates a good, clean bathroom when travelling, I'm happy to find a website like this.

How about you ladies?
