My poor dog Patch was irrated by hot spots. He was scratching, chewing and pulling his hair out.I took him to the vet.prescripted was an antibiotic and only helped for a couple of weeks.I gave up on the vet (tired of paying with no cure)I went online and found a remedy that actually works..A TEA BAG...unbelievable but true..Boil water, dip it in until wet,do not squeeze, place it on hot spot for a minute repeat 2 hours later...Next day all cleared up..Amazing what a tea bag can do!!
Cat Tail Tales by elahet0001

This morning I was coming from the kitchen (having made a cup of tea) to the computer and noticed that the closet door was ajar.  This door has no latch so sometimes that happens.  I thought nothing of it, closed it and started working on the computer.  A minute or two later out of the corner of my eye I saw the closet door opening again and Purnima wandered out.
The other day they had gotten a piece of bristol board out and had it laying in the hallway.  I watched as Nova went running toward the hall jumped onto the bristol board and rode it like a sled.  Where do they come up with this stuff!!!
Right now Neamies is glassy eyed (cat nip high), scooting around upside down and playing with her toys.
Sometimes I just sit here and talk with an Australian accent in my head doing a commentary . . . the giant cat stalks her prey.  The smaller animal senses trouble and sniffs the air.  Before she has a chance to react the hunter POUNCES.  Over and over they tumble.  Who will be victorious?  The battle rages until the prey sees her tail, stops fighting the hunter and tries to catch it.  The hunter loses interest.  She'll have to settle for kibble today

Hi, all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple... Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals..

It takes less than a minute (How about 20 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box 'fund food for animals' for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned and neglected animals in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know and please visit and click daily.

When I was taking care of my cousin's rabbit while she was away on vacation, the poor little thing got herself under our parked car.  We couldn't reach her so tried to lure her out with carrots but every time she tried to hop towards the carrot she bumped her head on the underside of the car.  When she finally got out she had a little dusty part of flattened fur on top of her head.  It was so cute!
