Help! destructive kitten chewing by divine.ca divine.ca staff

My 7 month old male kitten chewed right through my laptop power-supply cable. He chewed through other stuff in the past (like shoe laces, bra straps, carpet fringe, etc) but this recent event was the most costly and the most dangerous. I’m not sure what drove him to do this, or what I can do to make him stop chewing everything around the house.

Any advice/suggestions will be appreciated.

	That's not good at all. I have a toy/teacup poodle and I got him to stop chewing things by putting just a bit of hot sauce on them such as the coffee table legs..but with a cat you don't know what they are going to chew next.

	there is this cat spray that \I used with my cats when they were attacking everything in my house. Just a little spray and, I think it's the smell, they don't bother with it. Don't worry, you can't smell it, just the cats. That may help.

	I can't help you but, if you find a way can you let me know please? my cat chewed through my usb cable and i am not sure how to disipline him or what to do?
