| Does anyone know much about Parvo..I think that's how you spell it. Anyway my dog is a small indoor dog and even trained to go to the bathroom inside. We do talk him for walks but we watch where he sniffs.etc. and never got him any shots this year since I don't fully believe in them being current, and pricy etc. He is never in contact with other animals..however..the other day for the first time in years I was holding a puppy a neighbour brought to my sis-in law's house..I even asked if he had anything and they said no he had all his shots etc. When I got home my dog was all over me and my sweater smelling it. Needless to say I just found out (not happy)that the other dog has parvo. I am wondering how contagious that is..if it could have been carried on my sweater and all the noticable symptoms and how long before they could be noticed. If anyone can help or any suggestions please let me know. My dog does seem fine but of course I'm worried and although if necessary my family members I'm sure would help if I ask I have no cash on hand to run him to the vet. Again any knowledge of this out there? |

| Just adding to this that I just found some good helpful info online. I think mine will be OK since he is now 4 but I will still keep a watch and if you know anything the advice will still be good and probably helpful to others for the future! | |
