I'm going to fly to Prince George, British Columbia in January to meet mom, maid of honor, another bridesmaid and her mother to go find my wedding dress. I know that is pretty late considering my wedding is in June, but I want that extra time to lose some more weight. I'm worried about dress shopping though. The dress I found online that I have completely fallen in love with is a Pnina Tornai, but sadly you can only buy Pnina's dresses at Kleinfelds in New York City, and let's not mention that my budget could not hold a Pnina dress. Here is the picture of the Pnina Dress I like:
Thankfully I know at least one of the bridal salons in P.G carry Maggie Sotterro and I have also fallen in love with this dress:
I am not a fan of the back.
Basically these two dresses have everything I want. I want a dropped waist gown, very fitted bodice with lots of beading (I love beading). I don't want anything "poofier" then the above picture. I really love the flower look on the first dress. Most dress photos that I have saved have the flower detailing. That is the #1 detail I want on my dress.
I guess we will have to see what happens when I go try on gowns in a couple of months. My goal is to find a couture dress at a budget price! (But then again, isn't that most Bride's goal?)

This week I am going to talk about my wedding cake! It's going to be a short post, just a few pictures.
This is basically exactly what I want! I like how every second tier faces the "normal" way. I'm going to have black ribbon as well and instead of white roses I want red. As for the little "dots" that are on the cake, those will not be there. I just want a clean, elegant cake.
This cake shoes how I want the flowers done :) That is the only thing I like about this picture.
